Minos, a significant figure in Greek mythology, was the ruler of Crete, born to Europa and Zeus. He's best known for the Minotaur legend, where he commissioned the labyrinth to contain the half-man, half-bull creature. Minos also played a key role in the myth of Theseus, who slew the Minotaur.
